Hi!  I’m Jeff.  I’m a self-taught programmer who loves JavaScript.  Especially front-end web development and the React ecosystem.

I spent much of my programming career in the environmental non-profit world and now work independently as a contractor.  (Though I’m always open to interesting opportunities.)

In addition to JavaScript, I also love photography, the outdoors, live music at small, hidden-gem venues and good coffee.

This site is a brainchild of mine to document what I’ve learned about front-end web development.  It’ll also be a playground for me to post about new topics as this ever-changing ecosystem evolves.
